The Pastors

Andrea & Elizabeth Imperato
Andrea (from Italy) and Elizabeth (from Colorado, USA) have called Milan home since early March 2017 when they moved from London, England with their daughter, Eden. Creating community and a sense of family has been their passion for over 15 years of ministry in the UK and Italy.
 
Andrea and Elizabeth’s ministerial journey together began at Hillsong Church in London. Serving together there for more than 10 years ignited their hearts for building the Church and leading people to the hope and love of Jesus. Andrea’s background in both finance and ministry, organizing evangelistic events, preaching both domestic and international ministry, and discipling young men, have equipped him to lead with vision, sincerity and passion to follow the heart of God. Additionally, drawing from years of discipleship and pastoral care of young women, Elizabeth is passionate about helping people experience authentic freedom in Christ. With a Master’s degree in Art History, she also loves presenting spiritual truths through a creative lens.
 
Since the beginning years of their marriage, Andrea and Elizabeth have known that they would be involved somewhere in church ministry their entire lives.
After much counsel and prayer, Andrea and Elizabeth made the decision to step out in faith and obey the call of God to start a Spirit-empowered, multi-ethnic, life-giving church! Milano City Church officially launched in April 2022!
 
Alongside the amazing team at Milano City Church, their hope is to see people having a real encounter with the life-transforming love of Jesus, find a home in church community, being discipled in their faith, and help to bring a tangible change to the city of Milan.

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

There Is Only One God: God The Father, God The Son, And God The Holy Spirit.

One

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth from Mary, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His victorious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession and in His imminent return.

Two

In the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His fruits and gifts available in the Church.

Three

The Bible is the living word of God. It is infallible, authoritative and everlasting and is the foundation of all Christian doctrine.

In the existence of an evil spiritual being known as the devil.

Marriage was instituted by God, ratified by Jesus, and is exclusively between a man and a woman. It is a picture of Christ and his church.

Sex is a gift from God for procreation and unity and it is only appropriate within and designed for marriage.
